Friends for Good partnered with Blackbaud at BBCon — the largest nonprofit technology conference in the country — to assemble 500 Kid Kits for children staying at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia. With 350 volunteers mobilized in a single afternoon, BBCon became the single highest-volunteer event in FFG's six-year history.
Each kit was assembled by a conference attendee who, for one hour, stepped away from sessions and into something real. Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia received $5,000 in assembled kits and $10,000 in raised funds — all from a single event day.
